Active Calorie Tracking
CustomFit also integrates with Apple Health to track step activity. Steps are used to calculate overall active calorie burn, along with training calorie burn, giving a simple, integrated view of activity level, which can then be used to document how this affects body weight over time.
CustomFit has the unique ability to dynamically calculate the Skill level of each workout, so users can start with simple exercises and progress when ready. This keeps people from being overwhelmed by workouts with complicated moves, because they only move at their own pace.
The Intensity indicates just how difficult a workout will be, allowing users to make an informed choice about the kind of training they want to do. The higher the Intensity, the more calories burned. Of course, there’s always the option to start gently and ramp it up when ready.
For those who know what they want and how to do it, there’s also the option to create their own workouts from our library of over 800 exercises. Manage sets and reps, and track the weights lifted so progress can easily be monitored over time.
CustomFit has a huge range of metrics, which can be personalised so that progress can be tracked however a person wants. They can choose to monitor bench press 1 rep max, or time how quickly they can complete 30 push-ups; and everything can be set up as a metric on the "Me" page for instant access.
Fitness First members have the added benefit of a direct link between the app and the trainers in their club — allowing bespoke workouts to be created in-club and automatically published to their personal profile on the app.
